As we head into the weekend, I found an unusual story today: jumpers for chickens.

It has to be said, that these are no ordinary chickens – having been rescued from a life as battery hens.  As such they have bald patches, which have been covered up by the knitted jumpers.

It’s a fascinating idea, keeping the birds warm in this way. What will they think of next!
